Welcome
The Basic Equipment
To be Precise, the equipment they use in Pro Wrestling is very common. They have at least one announce table, an entrance ramp, a titanron (optional), a ring, a ring bell, and of course an audience. That sums it up for equipment, or does it? Some wrestling promotions choose to go "extreme" by adding weapons to the mix. These weapons aren't like guns or knives, more like tables and the common steel chairs. Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about.
The Birth of Extreme
The promotion that really took extreme to the next level was ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling). This promotion was notorious for using almost every weapon possible. They stacked tables probably 15 feet high! And then actually put someone through the tables. They set the tables on fire! They almost always used a steel chair. Despite ECW ending in 2008, WWE created a pay per view to keep the extreme wrestling alive. They created Extreme Rules. Due to the PG-14 rating on WWE, they can't do "extreme" things, but they still try to shakeout up a bit with their weirdly good matches.
